Job Requirements
- Knowledge of J2EE framework and architecture expertise (Java 7/8 or above, SERVLETS/APPLETS, JDBC & JMS)
- Ability to develop high volume of Java code in complex enterprise environment on aggressive timelines with high quality
- Must be very strong in Spring Framework, Spring Integration, Spring Boot and Spring Batch
- Understanding in Exposing and Consuming REST and SOAP Webservices
- Developing 12-factor microservices while utilizing Continuous Integration, Build, and Delivery w/Spring, Spring Boot.
- Strong teamwork focus and the ability to foster collaboration within and across teams
Responsibilities
- Participate in full app life-cycle: concept, design, build, deploy, test and release of the applications
- Work with product teams on new product ideas, designs, prototypes and estimates.
- Keep up-to-date on current and upcoming features in relevant products and platforms.
- Drive a best practices approach to the continuous improvement of our products, processes, and tools.
- Write and maintain documentation for all features in development.
- Utilize software engineering tools such as configuration management systems, build processes, and debuggers in the software development process
- Consult with customers about software system design and maintenance.
- Collaborates and adds value through participation in peer code reviews, providing comments and suggestions
- Provides reliable solutions to a variety of problems using sound problem solving techniques
- Performs technical root cause analysis and outlines corrective action for given problems
- Serve as a mentor to less experienced software engineers
