Job Requirements

  • Knowledge of J2EE framework and architecture expertise (Java 7/8 or above, SERVLETS/APPLETS, JDBC & JMS)
  • Ability to develop high volume of Java code in complex enterprise environment on aggressive timelines with high quality
  • Must be very strong in Spring Framework, Spring Integration, Spring Boot and Spring Batch
  • Understanding in Exposing and Consuming REST and SOAP Webservices
  • Developing 12-factor microservices while utilizing Continuous Integration, Build, and Delivery w/Spring, Spring Boot.
  • Strong teamwork focus and the ability to foster collaboration within and across teams

Responsibilities

  • Participate in full app life-cycle: concept, design, build, deploy, test and release of the applications
  • Work with product teams on new product ideas, designs, prototypes and estimates.
  • Keep up-to-date on current and upcoming features in relevant products and platforms.
  • Drive a best practices approach to the continuous improvement of our products, processes, and tools.
  • Write and maintain documentation for all features in development.
  • Utilize software engineering tools such as configuration management systems, build processes, and debuggers in the software development process
  • Consult with customers about software system design and maintenance.
  • Collaborates and adds value through participation in peer code reviews, providing comments and suggestions
  • Provides reliable solutions to a variety of problems using sound problem solving techniques
  • Performs technical root cause analysis and outlines corrective action for given problems
  • Serve as a mentor to less experienced software engineers
